Vantage Building Control were extremely proud to sponsor the Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards 2023, sponsoring the G4C Future Leader award. Choosing to sponsor the G4C Future Leader award, Vantage wanted to recognise an individual that has been a driving force for industry change, that best demonstrates a positive impact on their peers, their organisation, and the wider industry, against current G4C priority areas of people development, sustainability, and innovation.

Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards is an annual celebration of the achievements, developments and innovation Norfolk’s built environment has to be proud of. The awards ceremony this year took place was at Sprowston Manor, Norfolk on 27th April 2023. The prestigious black-tie event was a great excuse for attendees to switch their hi-vis coats to their glad rags to celebrate another great year of dedication and hard work of construction organisations, individuals and project teams delivering and contributing to the region.

As sponsors, Vantage Building Control were invited to attend the black-tie three course dinner. The glittering awards ceremony began at 6:30pm. We were welcomed with flutes of bubbly where we chatted with fellow sponsors and award nominees. After being seated at our tables, we were treated to a delicious three course meal, which was beautifully accompanied by carefully selected wines.

The spectacular awards began with an inspirational speech from John Dixon Chair of Norfolk Constructing Excellence thanking everyone who attended for making it so special. The awards presentation commenced, with Chris Sargisson as compere announcing the winners from each category. . There were seven awards in total including the G4C Future leader award Vantage Building Control sponsored. Tony Harvey-Soanes Vantage Building Control’s Managing Director took to the stage to present the G4C Future Leader winner with their award. There were two stand out finalists for this award; Christian Cardiss from Lanpro and Kelly Cartright from Core Recruiter Ltd. The exemplary winner was announced as Kelly Cartright. Tony was delighted to present Kelly with her award and winners champagne kindly donated by Adnams.

The evening was rounded up with over £2000 being raised for NARS - Norfolk Accident Rescue Service.
