The New Apprentices
Focusing on our team allows us to promote from within and provide a structured career development plan. Our clients place their trust in us to provide impeccable service, and we trust our team to deliver. Ensuring we have the best service means building up from within as it demonstrates longevity within our company.
One of the biggest benefits of apprenticeships is gaining experience while gaining qualifications. This year, Vantage Building Control is pleased to welcome two new apprentices, Abigail Atkinson, and Jamie Burgess.
Our apprenticeship program is a great way to learn the field of Building Control offering a hands-on approach to gaining confidence from experienced surveyors. Abigail is currently our Business Support Assistant, she is starting her degree this month in order to pursue a career in surveying, and Jamie is joining us externally.
We take pride in cultivating our team from the very beginning of their career, this helps our apprentices gain confidence as we teach the right techniques that we use daily. Our role requires a lot of responsibility to ensure that buildings are safe for the public and compliant with local building regulations which is why we do all we can to create a supportive environment with our surveyors.
In order to become a successful building surveyor, it is imperative to have a thorough understanding of building regulations and the relevant legislation. We know it can be a lot to take in, especially with construction techniques and materials. That's why we offer apprenticeships so we can learn from the very best!
We can’t wait to welcome our two talented apprentices!
